The Baron family has owned and cultivated land in Champagne since the 17th century. Upon his marriage in 1961 to Dolores Fuenté, Gabriel Baron was given by his father 1 hectare of vineyard. In 1967, as a symbol of their union, Gabriel and Dolores named their brand new company: Champagne Baron-Fuenté.
Only the best years are made as vintage and 2013 is one of them.
45% Chardonnay, 40% Meunier, 15% Pinot Noir.
Aged 8 years on the less before disgorgment. Dosage is 8 g/l.
